Company History

Aircraft Plastics are based in Geelong, Australia, In 2000 the company embarked on a research and development program with the aim of improving our systems for reconditioning and refurbishing plastic components from commercial and military aircraft.

As a result Aircraft Plastics is now able to offer a low cost, effective solution to refurbish a wide range of interior plastic components and for most commercial aircraft. To date we have developed solutions for commercial Aircraft ranging from Boeing 747 to 737 and Airbus A380 to A320 series and have applied it to components from all of these aircraft types.

Aircraft Plastics goal is to assist its clients to achieve maximum cost efficiency in the overhaul and maintenance of plastic aircraft components.

To date we have been very successful in doing this with our services resulting in major cost reductions and improved turnaround times for our clients.

One client reported savings of SG$2.37 million for financial year 2008-2009.

In addition, where a manufacturer may no longer support or supply a component, our service will allow the component to be remanufactured And release back to service This reduces sourcing difficulties that might be experienced with older components Saving time and money.
